6 Days. Topographical navigation, sustained gorge ascents, and exploring ancient rockfalls.
This isn't a casual walk in the park. The topography here demands navigation through dense sandstone formations and significant elevation changes within short distances.
We'll be navigating Route E1 and Route 2. The terrain consists of steep stone stairs cut directly into rock faces, narrow faults, and rugged gorge descents.
We deploy from the Trail-Inn Sporthotel in Berdorf daily. We run light daypacks, relying on Luxembourg's free transit network for drop-offs and extractions.
Passage through the Kuelscheier and Raiberhiel rock labyrinths requires headlamps. These are 100m+ dark zones where natural light does not penetrate.
Interactive topo maps with high-fidelity GPS routing and location recon photos.
Headlamps mandatory. Expect extreme narrowing and zero-visibility sections.
